    E1 ENTERTAINMENT SIGNS NEW DEAL WITH CULT FILM LABEL BLUE UNDERGROUND

    E1 Entertainment has entered a new deal with acclaimed home video label Blue Underground. Under this new multi-year arrangement, E1 Entertainment will distribute over 200 Blue Underground catalog titles as well as its new home video releases in the United States both physically and digitally, as well as via VOD. E1 Entertainment U.S. President Michael Rosenberg states, "As E1 continues to expand the depth of our U.S. film library, we recognized Blue Underground, long a favorite of film buffs, as one of the leading providers of horror, sci-fi and cult movies. We are pleased to enter into this deal with Bill Lustig, Greg Chick, and the entire Blue Underground team." Blue Underground's Bill Lustig adds, "We are happy to be working with E1 and its distribution team to bring our new releases and established catalog titles to film fans across the county." Blue Underground's goal is to bring unique movies to fans all over the world in beautiful, restored special editions. The company releases definitive discs of some remarkable films, all fully restored, remastered and packed with the most mind-blowing extras in the business. Blue Underground specializes in fun movies and undiscovered films. Upcoming releases included "The Prowler" (on Blu-ray, 7/27/10), "Machine Gun McCain" (Blu-ray and DVD, 8/24/10), "Vigilante" (Blu-ray, 9/21/10), "Salon Kitty" (Blu-ray, 11/23/10) and a 2-Disc Special Edition Blu-ray and DVD release of "Maniac," just in time for Halloween, on 10/26/10.

    Blue Underground's extensive catalog includes: 1980's sci-fi classic "The Final Countdown," the animated fantasy "Fire and Ice," (1983), cult favorite "Vampyres" (1974); Lucio Fulci's "Zombie" (1979), thriller "Dead and Buried" (1981), George Romero's "The Crazies" (1973); Dario Argento's masterpiece, "Suspiria" (1977); martial arts fantasy "Circle of Iron" (1978); Tinto Brass' "Salon Kitty" (1976); and 1966's Spaghetti Western classic, "Django."
